Peter Ulbrich Paeper has summed up his sail training skills in a new book.
For more than 35 year Peter has trained students in all dinghy classes from beginners up to international racers. Peter Paeper is an accomplished author and has already written several books about sailing and trimming the optimist dinghy. Since 1998 he has trained teenagers in his Regatta-Training-Centrum in Damp. His students are successful on German and international master yachts.
The training lessons in this book are arranged carefully, with full explanations, and are aided by pictures and photos. Common training mistakes are analyzed by diagrams. Especially in the basic training it is important to learn the correct manoeuvres, seating position and holding of the tiller. Not everyone is able to become a world champion, but nobody wants to cross the line last.
