For more than 25 years; competence, quality and product continuity from Nautical Publications. A team of hydrographers, cartographers, geographers and professional mariners has been producing charts of the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean Sea and the Baltic Sea by conducting their own surveys and designing charts. Nautical Publications is the leading producer of yachting charts in Europe and the Caribbean. We were the first to bring paper charts and digital charts together in one product.

Our charts of the Bahamas and Caribbean have been marketed for over 10 years, initially distributed in the U.S. under the brand CYC by Maptech through a cooperative partnership. Recently we have reintroduced the products under the nv-charts brand and opened an office for Nautical Publications USA.

Our sales manager in the US office, Tim Sullivan, has over 15 years experience in selling both paper and digital nautical charts.  Tim is a prior employee of Maptech, and for years was in charge of their international products.  Tim will help promote our company philosophy in the U.S.; “to deliver everything a recreational boater needs for navigation, in one package, at a reasonable price”; which includes paper and digital nautical charts and an accompanying Harbor & Anchorage guide where more detailed information is required.

Additionally, our charts have been adopted by the U.S. Coast Guard for use in the Bahamas and Caribbean and similarly, pilots transiting the Kiel Canal in Germany rely on special charts delivered and updated by NV. 

Now in production by Nautical Publications, charts for the US east coast and for Cuba. The new nv-charts for the US are based on NOAA data with new cartography. Initially for Florida, the new Reg.s will continue up the coast to Maine.
